Method

How this is calculated

Uncovered Portion = Sanctioned Facility − Hybrid Collateral
CGTMSE Cover = Uncovered Portion × Coverage % (75% or 85%)
Year-1 AGF = Sanctioned Slab Rate % × Uncovered Portion × 1.18 (incl. 18% GST)

  • Guarantee Coverage: 75% for standard MSEs and 85% for Women entrepreneurs, SC/ST entrepreneurs, ZED-certified units and Micro loans up to ₹5 lakh.
  • Hybrid Security: Deducts tangible collateral from the sanctioned credit facility before computing the uncovered portion and CGTMSE guarantee cover.
  • Term Loan vs Working Capital AGF: For term loans, AGF after Year 1 reduces as principal amortises; for working capital (CC/OD), AGF applies annually on the full sanctioned limit.

Not a credit decision or tax/legal opinion. Figures are indicative and based on your inputs; confirm final sanction terms, tax applicability and statutory notifications with your lender, insurer or Chartered Accountant.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is the maximum loan limit under CGTMSE?

CGTMSE covers credit facilities (both fund-based and non-fund-based) up to ₹10 crore per eligible Micro or Small Enterprise borrower, including under the Hybrid Security product.

How does the CGTMSE Hybrid Security model work?

If a borrower can offer partial collateral security (for example, ₹50 lakh property for a ₹2 crore loan), the lender takes tangible security for ₹50 lakh and obtains CGTMSE guarantee cover only on the ₹1.50 crore uncovered portion, reducing the Annual Guarantee Fee.

What are the standard CGTMSE Annual Guarantee Fee (AGF) slabs?

Indicative standard base AGF rates are 0.37% p.a. (up to ₹10 lakh), 0.55% p.a. (₹10 lakh to ₹50 lakh), 0.60% p.a. (₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore), 1.20% p.a. (₹1 crore to ₹2 crore), 1.25% p.a. (₹2 crore to ₹5 crore) and 1.35% p.a. (₹5 crore to ₹10 crore), with a 10% discount for Women, SC/ST and ZED-certified enterprises.

Raising an MSME loan up to ₹10 crore without full property security?

We help MSEs structure collateral-free and Hybrid Security term loans and Cash Credit limits under CGTMSE with Member Lending Institutions.

Member Lending Institutions may add a risk-based premium (up to 30% of the base rate) depending on internal credit rating and bank policy. Lenders, regulators and government offices apply their own rules and may round or calculate differently; their figures prevail. Biz Corp Solutions arranges funding through partner banks, NBFCs and financial institutions, and lenders decide sanction, rates and terms. Last reviewed 23 October 2026.
